Genomics Shared Resource

The Genomics Shared Resource (GSR) provides a full spectrum of services for parallel analyses of genomes and their expression. The Resource works with the Bioinformatics Shared Resource to assist investigators in experimental design to minimize sample use and optimize efficiency. The Resource provides full service (DNA/RNA to data) offerings as a fee for service, as well as access to state-of-the-art instruments.

Resource services include next generation sequencing, microarray and validation technologies. The GSR provides library preparation, sequence enrichment, NGS, and methylation services for use on the Illumina HiSeq2500 and MiSeq sequencing systems, and the Ion Torrent Proton and PGM systems. Resource staff also validates NGS findings using Agena Biosciences, Illumina, NanoString, qPCR and Sanger Sequencing platforms. The GSR provides researchers with high-quality microarray, qPCR, NGS and genotyping data in a format that is amenable to downstream analysis.
