Science-to-the-Sidewalk brings the science of Roswell Park into communities through education programs featuring doctors and scientists and their work. Presentations are done in “layman’s terms” so anyone & everyone can understand it!
Our office’s mission is to share the advances in science at Roswell Park with everyone in all communities.
“Science-to-the-Sidewalk” events have been a great way to share the “latest and greatest” in cancer prevention and treatment. It has also helped to dispel misconceptions & myths held by many about cancer and Roswell Park.
The more “you know” the better off care will be for all. Through education efforts like “Science to the Sidewalk”, we are starting to see more minorities looking to get cancer screenings, participating in clinical studies and asking their doctors for information on cancer.
