Dr. Lili Tian earned her MA (1999) and PhD (2001) in Statistics from the University of Rochester, as well as a MA in Physics (1997). She earned her BS and MS in Physics from Shandong University in China.

Dr. Tian joined the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) as a Consultant in 2005 and became an Associate Professor of Oncology in 2007. She was an Associate Professor 2005-2013, and has been full Professor since Sept. 2013 in the department of Biostatistics at SUNY at Buffalo.
