Application Page for High School Summer Research Internship Program in Cancer Science

Instructions to high school applicants:  Follow the instructions below to ensure that your application is submitted on time and reviewed for consideration.

Deadline for all application materials is: January 10, 2017.

Step 1: Review available internships

Review the directory of available internships. (available on October 31st) It is highly recommended you print or reference this list when ranking your choice of internship in the online application.

Step 2: Prepare personal statement question

Take time to review the personal statement question ahead of time in order to prepare your answers. 

Step 3: Choose your references

In the online application, you will be asked to provide contact information for TWO references. These may be either a teacher, advisor or other individual who can assess your abilities in science. Be sure to notify this individual that you are using them as a reference and that they should expect an email from the program (email domain: @roswellpark.org) asking them to complete an online recommendation on your behalf.

Step 4: Complete the online application

Begin the online application. *Applications will open October 31st, 2016

Step 5: Complete and mail supplemental application materials

  • Parental Consent form - Download and have your parent or guardian complete and sign the form.
  • Guidance Counselor form - Download and have your high school counselor complete and sign the form.
  • Application fee: amount to change for 2017 (non-refundable) Checks or money orders only - Make check or money order out to "RPCI Summer Internship Program."
