Researchers in the Department of Cancer Biology use interdisciplinary approaches to cancer research. The current research interests of this group include pharmaceutics, development of novel drugs, proteomics and metabonimics, strategies in novel drug delivery methods, in vivo imaging and early detection of cancer. The department also has a major component of delineation of molecular mechanisms of drug response as well as translational research to develop phase I/II clinical trials.
